I have been a Team Leader for 9 years in the Environmental Research Institute of the Supervising Scientist, leading a team of remote sensing and environmental scientists to undertake cutting edge science in environmental monitoring and modelling. Previous roles with the Department of the Environment and Energy include undertaking ecological risk assessments for Australia’s tropical rivers, and science communication. Prior to working in government, I co-founded a start-up company focused on commercialising the use of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery for environmental monitoring.
